  on thursday evening, i received a phone call from a young woman, i have been helping by talking and emailing.

  i have never met her.

  bill bowen put her in touch with me nearly a year ago.

  I see a lot of times someone that doesn't like restrictions using the word "Control" I personally sometimes see it as"Consideration"

  perhaps i'm just a bit paranoid..but i get the feeling that there are a few posters that actually hate me (before its assumed--no i'm talking about lack of responses to my threads.. and no i am not talking about a disagreement of opinion) i am talking about a few posters that come across to me as very hateful in their responses.. and yes i know that not everyone here will like me (even though i'm so darn sweet and cute...lol) but it is an intense animosity vibe that i get and can't seem to shake.. maybe i am mistaken and maybe its just me..... but if there is anyone out there that does dislike me that much---i am curious as to why---only because i try to learn and grow everyday and your input would be especially valuable and probably essential to that -growth.. so whats the verdict---do you love me, hate me or just not care either way?.

  NY Newsday, Going door-to-door, my pedofile letter

  here is my letter to the editor of newsday; a new york paper that today saturday july 20, is featuring an extensive article on jehovahs witnesses, their brushes with the law and angry mobs, and their past and most recent court battles.

  the article is called going door to door will they pint my letter?

  Well I don't know "you Know" so I can't say! But I do know "Whats his name" is a real pain in the a-- you know!. I have seen that "Other guy" lurking about too! Then of course we were paid a visit by "Who is it!" (A funny guy!)

  I always look forward to the wit of "Nobody's perfect!"..She is such a charmer!

  And then we always have the humor of "It's time to call it a day!"...

  this is how jehovahs witness keep the congregations clean.

  when anyone does something wrong, adultery, childabuse etc only the elders dealing with the case are supposed to know about it , appart from those directlty involved.

  this means that appart from rumors and gosip, which jehovahs witnesses are instructed to ignore (i suspect this is the reason why)no one knows about it.this creates the impression among the general publishers that these things rarely happen.

  My JW Mother in law said that the reason the child abuse scandel was on TV was because Jehovah is cleaning his Organization out!

  They have an answer for everything!

  I guess he needed TV coverage to do this?

  I'm so sorry your Father in Law passed away. My condolences to your both!

  The one thing I have seen is they will now stick to the JW religion , because it is their only hope (So they think) to see their beloved again!Or they get mad at God and leave! My JW Mother in Law still carries my JW deceased Father in Law's ashs around in a cardboard box. She has it in the back of her car. Her and my hubby (Inactive ) joke about how he "Rides around with her". And they can not wait to see him again...Well when a JW family member says to a Non JW family member.."I can't wait for Armaggedon to come". Aren't they really saying...I want you to hurry up and Die ?

  God knows we will NEVER survive Armaggedon if we arent JW's...Or so they say!

  smarmy robert pevy of the writing staff is a total pinhead, and rodney stark is such a joke he makes disfellowshipping out to me a laughing matter!.

  I go to my JW Mother in laws house every weekend. We cut her grass and do any other job she has ready for us! She knows I have been disassociated for at least 15 years. We eat together..go out and eat together..she has "friends" over and they eat with me.

  She always gives me a big hug when we get there..(She is 2 hours away)

  One thing I was waiting to see this weekend .....I saw the post on the Aug. Kingdom ministry. About associating with those Disfellowshiped and Disassociated.I was wondering what impact that would have on her. So I went up and hugged her as usual..small hug back! Also not quite as friendly as she has been..to her Inactive son or myself. Hummm!

  She did have lunch with us though! That I would think would be a direct No No!

  Also...she is hinting that she wants us to buy a lawnmower she can operate and ride! She will pay for it. The other one is too old and hard for her to operate.(She is 80 geez!)

  Anyway it sounds to me like she is trying to make a break? She has even inquired of her "Friends" how much they pay to get their grass cut..She has a mini farm so it take us about 2 hours to cut it!...NO CHARGE!

  Now this is a complete turnaround for her! She used to talk (recently) about how she wanted us to go in together and buy a house with a Mother in law quarters so we could live together! No matter she has a JW daughter and son in law in NY that would love to have her!

  As we left..I noticed her bookbag on the steps. It had the Kingdom Ministry sticking out the top..(With article on shunning in it.).Hint?..Who knows..time will tell!

  And it really does depend on where you live and the congregation you go to as to how severely they follow up on "shunning".
